A prophylactic injection is considered adherent or on-time if it is done between 4 hours before and up to 12 hours after the planned injection time.
For patients treated with Concizumab, every injection within the day of their planned injection is considered as adherent.
For example: If the treatment plan foresees 50 injections in a 6-month period and your patient misses (or do not inject on time) 10 injections, the adherence score will be 80%.
The planned injection time is based on your patients’ treatment plan and the usual time they inject.
If you change your patients’ treatment plan, all data from the start date of the new treatment plan will be taken into account for adherence calculation.
Otherwise, the calculation will follow the rules below:
Depending on the duration of data collection with florio HAEMO, different time periods are used for the adherence calculation formula.
- Less than 2 months: data will be used from start of documentation
- 2-6 months of data: data of last month will be used for calculation
- 7-11 months of data: data of last 3 months will be used for calculation
- 12+ months of data: last 6 months will be used for calculation
Times of bleed events are excluded from the adherence calculation.
Adherence is only shown for people on prophylactic treatment.
