If you already have a PK study for the new drug: add the PK study to McMaster PopPK. Next create a new treatment plan for the patient using McMaster PopPKs Clinical Calculator and mark the treatment plan as “current”. The new treatment plan will be available in florio HAEMO within 12 hours, or immediately after you next view the patient’s summary in the florio HAEMO dashboard. The patient will see the new treatment plan the next time they open the florio HAEMO app. If you do NOT have a PK study yet available for the new drug: you can create a temporary treatment plan for this patient to follow, until a PK study is available. To create a temporary treatment plan:
1) From the patient’s summary screen, click the downward facing arrow next to Treatment Plan.
2) Select “Change drug”
3) When asked “Do you already have the new PK Study in MPPK for this drug available?”, select “No”
4) Enter the details of the patient’s temporary treatment plan: drug, regular or irregular, and the correct dose and schedule. The patient’s existing treatment plan should be selected automatically, so it is easier to make small changes.
5) Click “Save temporary treatment plan”
The patient will see the temporary treatment plan the next time they open the florio HAEMO app. The temporary treatment plan will remain active until a new treatment plan is created for this patient in McMaster PopPk.
