To enable a PK guided prophylaxis for a patient, follow the steps below.
1. Open the patient profile you want to enable a PK guided prophylaxis treatment plan
a. Click on the Pen (Edit) icon next to “Treatment Plan” under their profile ID
b. Select “Enable PK guided prophylaxis” in the pop-up window
c. Follow the PK profile creation steps. At the end, click on “Request new PK”
2. You will be notified as soon as the PK service provider (more information here) finished processing the data.
3. If the PK profile is accepted, open the results screen and select “Add PK Treatment Plan”. Use the tool to create a PK treatment plan and once agreed with the patient, set it as current
You can create additional treatment plans from this PK profile, add additional PK injections and measurements to refine the PK Profile, or create new PK profiles by selecting the “Treatment Plan” Pen (Edit) icon and “Update PK guided prophylaxis”.
